Jan. 14, 2003 At long last, an update I'm ashamed to say should have been online EONS ago. My apologies to the contributors, your submissions were *most* welcome and deserved to be online much quicker than I got them up. Thanks again for these sequences!

Also, I never mentioned it on this updates page, but at one point I uploaded the page for Dragon Warrior Monsters II. There's two !NEW! tunes there if you missed it when I posted it on Dustin's wwwboard so long ago. It's on the Sidebar of the Midi Pages.

I have more new midis to upload... including some new tunes and a lot of DW7... have transferred part of the digital music files for DW3, and have most everything else ready to FINALLY finish updating and relaunching the site in a fully functional form. There should hopefully be a few more updates soon. It doesn't mean there will be regular updates... but I'm bound and determined to at least get the Shrine fully functional dagnabbit!

Jun. 09, 2002 Just a quick "I'm alive" =P

I *am* still working on getting that last page online, and getting all the new midis I need to add up. Just have all the real life stuff and another massive web project on my hands as well. Here's a nice lil' tidbit though, A *huge* DQ Medley ^_^

Mar. 24, 2002 Thought it was time to put something here since Dustin's Board is down at the moment (and periodically it seems =P) Everything on the page is functioning properly with the exception of the DQ3R Digital Files page. Have to transfer the files for that off my old computer before I can get that online. Same thing for the midi updates... although I did find some more new ones for VII and a couple of medleys I don't believe I had yet.

What's been done since I last updated this what's new page.... got every section except the above mentioned online and functional, added a DWM2 page with a couple of files. Just taking a while to get stuff done 'cause of transferring from my old 'puter to the new one. Plus, my work schedule... and most importantly... spending time with my son and him mommy ^_^ Everything will go up and there *will* be updates, I promise. I just won't promise they'll be regular or frequent updates ~_^

And I want to take a moment right here to say what I've been saying on the message boards as well. EOA didn't screw us by not bringing DQIV Reprise over. They did let us down by announcing it and then cancelling it... but that was a mistake they'll hopefully learn from. Remember, we fought long and hard and our voices made a difference in bringing DW back to the US. Don't let your voice do the opposite now.

Dec. 15, 2001 Homestead decided to start charging, while *maintaining* their lame rules and restrictions.... See ya, wouldn't wanna beeya Homestead =P

So here we go again. Once again, arranging things to make it even easier to update the pages, even though I can gurantee I won't be doing constant regular updates like I did back in the day. At least when I *do* have something to add, it may get done quicker because it won't be something I dread doing because of the horrible programming practices I used when I first started this page =P

This is a Pre-Relaunch Update. I'm still in the midst of uploading everything at the moment. This time, before I relaunch, the Digital Music and CD pages will all be online.

I've removed the cluttering midi page links from the left bar of all the page, split up DW3 and DW4's Zips because they were getting so huge (partially for DL speed, partially to keep well below my file size limit here), Changed DQ to DW for all games that have domestic releases now, fixed and updated some pages.

There *will* be a nice Midi Update on the official relaunch as well. I have several tunes contributed to the page, including some of my requests ^_^ Hopefully, see you soon fully functional and ready to roll.

Mar. 09, 2001 Went through and eliminated a lot of really old entries on this page that weren't terribly relevant anymore.

Fixed a couple of goofs on the links page

Added a page called GG DQs to the navigation bar on the main page. It's a quick link page that gets you to all the DQ related items I have on my main site, The Goblin's Domain.

No Midi Updates yet, but it's in the works. Just in the process of setting up my second computer so my g/f can work from the new one, and haven't gotten speakers on this one yet.

Completed a couple more of the digital music pages, uploaded all files for one of them. The Digital Music section will go live when they are all completed.

Finished the layout design for the DQ CD reviews pages, and have most of the first review for Dragon Quest Best Live completed, ready to upload.

Big updates coming, both here and at the Goblin's Domain, so keep yer eyes peeled!

Feb. 25, 2001: Well, guess I wasn't giving up quite so easily after all? LOL

In all honesty, I could still use some help with keeping the site updated. Hopefully I've scheduled out enough time now that I'll be able to answer my e-mails =P

Everything is back online now. All my files weren't working properly even *before* Dragonfire went dead with no notice. *All* midis are now properly linked.

The site is much more organized (from a maintainers point of view) now, so it will be easier for me to update... which might actually cause me to do so more often LOL

Hoping to soon have Midi Updates online. Including adding a DQ7 page with a few midis I've found.

Also, I've decided to expand into other types of DQ Music Related items. Digital Music for one.... a partially completed page is Right Here It's Digital/Game Music for DW1. Should have pages for every game except the gameboy ones soon. I'm also planning to post information/review pages for the DQ CD's.

Soooooo.... watch this space. At the very least, the Midi Shrine lives! Hopefully, it will breathe and sing and dance again too ^_^

Sep. 6, 2000: Well.... guess it's about time to put something on the page about this.....

I find that with my work, my girl, and my rapidly growing youngster, I don't really have time to update this page anymore..... What's up will stay up (money staying in supply) but updates will be few, if at all.

If anyone would like to take over the site, drop me a line and we'll talk it over and I'll do what I can to help you.

Mar. 19, 2000: Sorry for the lack of updates Y'All. My job, my girl, and my justovertwomonthold boy are really using up all of my time. I'm taking a couple moments here to put a file online which was contributed by Billy Wick to the site though. I'm always tickled to receive files directly from the authors where I can give proper credit.

Identify that Unknown if you can! The Midis with the !NEW! next to them are entirely new tunes of which a version has not appeared at the Midi Shrine until now. All others are new versions of tunes I already had online.

I've decided to do the file update *What's New*'s like this from now on and eliminate the *NEW* listings on the individual pages. It just made them too hard to maintain. Probably be easier to come back and find tunes you missed this way anyhow.

I'm off to check the sites for more new midis I've missed, then it's off to either the DW3 FAQ, an online version of one of my text FAQs, or whatever project strikes my fancy when I sign off. Or maybe Might and Magic VII.... LOL
